Being the largest volcanic region in the province, Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park covers a massive area of 800 square km in the center of East Java. Visitors who have an eager interest in volcanic activities must come to the park and witness the smoke of ashes coming from Mount Semeru, an active volcano that rises 3,676 meters above sea level. Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park is the only conservation area in Indonesia that has a 10 km sea of sand called Tengger, from which four new volcanic cones have emerged. Those volcanic cones are Mount Batok (2,470 m), Mount Kursi (2,581 m), Mount Watangan (2,661 m), and Mount Widodaren (2,650 m). However, Mount Bromo is still the only one that is active. Temperatures at the top of Mount Bromo range about 5-18 degrees Celsius. Heading south of the park is a rolling upland plateau divided by valleys and decorated with several scenic lakes reaching to the foot of Mount Semeru.

Day 1
ARRIVAL SURABAYA – MT. BROMO
Selamat datang!
Arrival at Surabaya International Airport. Meet & greet with our tour guide, proceed to Cemorolawang Village at Bromo area & overnight.
Day 2
SUNRISE MT. BROMO – SAFARI PARK – TRETES HILLY RESORT
At 3.00 in the early morning you start Mt. Bromo tour using 4WD Jeep, to witness sunrise from Pananjakan view point. The tour will continue to the crater of Mt. Bromo crossing the sand dunes. Arrive at Jeep parking area, the tour will be conducted by pony riding (own expenses) cross sand dunes to the rim of the crater and climb up 245 stairs. After enjoying the surrounding of Mt. Bromo, back to hotel for breakfast and repacking. Next, transfer to Tretes, enroute visit to Indonesian Safari Park to see the collection of animals.
Day 3
FARMING/PADDY FIELD – SURABAYA
Breakfast at hotel, visit to ICC (International Culture Center). We will bring you to take practical vegetation planting and in this program, you’ll be introduced to the basics of traditional farming, watch the demonstration of plowing, seeding and planting by the instructor, and then finally practice planting your own seedling.
Day 4
SURABAYA – DEPARTURE
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for departure.
