TRIP ITINERARY
Day 1
MEDAN – PARAPAT - SAMOSIR
Welcome to North Sumatra! Upon arrival at Kuala Namu International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your tour guide and assisted with the baggage process. Depart for a scenic 4.5-hour drive to Parapat, a charming lakeside resort on the eastern shore of Lake Toba. Along the journey, enjoy views of expansive rubber and coconut plantations as you pass through Tebing Tinggi and Pematang Siantar. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Samosir Island, located in the heart of Lake Toba. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. Dinner will be served at the hotel, accompanied by a Batak Vocal Group performance for groups of 10 or more.
Day 2
SAMOSIR TOUR – BRASTAGI
After breakfast, we will start with Samosir Tour visiting the Tomb of King Sidabutar and Batak Toba Village at Tomok. Then Ambarita, a traditional village with ancient megalithic furniture in front of the traditional house. Visit the Village of Simanindo to watch folkdance performance of Batak Toba people. Back to Parapat. After lunch at local restaurant, leave for Brastagi a highland resort with its refreshing weather and magnificent mountain scenery, tropical rain forest of Sumatera. Stop at Simarjarunjung, a mountainous area at the edge of Lake Toba. You can see the very beautiful panorama around Lake Toba. Proceed to Brastagi through the fertile vegetable and the fruit farms, pine tree forest and spectacular view of Lake Toba along most part the journey. Then visit the slender Sipiso Piso Waterfall drops into the northern tip shore of Lake Toba from hundred meters height. Arrive in Brastagi, check in hotel. Dinner at hotel. Optional to hot spring.
Day 3
BRASTAGI – MEDAN CITY TOUR
After breakfast, depart from Brastagi and visit the traditional fruit market, where you can find a variety of fresh local produce. Continue to Taman Alam Lumbini to see the miniature replica of Myanmar’s Golden Shwedagon Pagoda. Proceed to Medan and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Upon arrival in Medan, visit Tjong A Fie Mansion, a historical landmark reflecting the city’s rich cultural heritage. Next, explore Maimoon Palace, the royal palace of the Deli Sultanate, and the iconic Grand Mosque of Medan. In the evening, have dinner at a local restaurant before checking in at your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4
MEDAN - DEPARTURE
Enjoy free time at your leisure until it’s time for your transfer to Kuala Namu International Airport for your onward flight. Thank you for traveling with us, and selamat jalan! Wishing you a safe and pleasant journey ahead.
