TRIP ITINERARY
Day 1
MEDAN – PARAPAT
Welcome to Medan! Upon arrival at Kuala Namu International Airport, you will be greeted by your tour guide and assisted with the baggage process. Begin a scenic 4.5-hour drive to Parapat, a charming lakeside town on the eastern shore of Lake Toba. Along the way, enjoy views of vast rubber and coconut plantations as you pass through Tebing Tinggi and Pematang Siantar. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing the journey. Upon arrival in Parapat, check in at your hotel and take some time to rest. Dinner will be served at the hotel as you settle in for the evening.
Day 2
SAMOSIR TOUR – PARAPAT – TAMAN SIMALEM RESORT
After breakfast, begin the Samosir Island tour with a visit to the Tomb of King Sidabutar and explore the traditional Batak Toba Village in Tomok. Continue to Ambarita Village, known for its ancient megalithic stone chairs and traditional Batak houses. Return to Parapat and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, proceed to Taman Simalem Resort with scenic stops along the way. Visit Simarjarunjung, a highland area offering breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Toba. Continue to Sipiso-Piso Waterfall, a majestic cascade plunging over 100 meters into the lake. Upon arrival at Taman Simalem Resort, check in and enjoy dinner at the hotel.
Day 3
TAMAN SIMALEM RESORT – BRASTAGI – MEDAN
Begin the day early with a sunrise visit to the Amphitheatre or One Tree Hill, offering spectacular views of Lake Toba from an altitude of 800 meters. Enjoy breakfast while taking in the scenery. You may join an Agro Tour with optional fruit picking or a soft trek to the Twin Waterfalls. Afterward, check out from Taman Simalem Resort and depart for Medan via Berastagi. En route, stop for lunch at a local restaurant and visit the traditional fruit market. Continue to Taman Alam Lumbini to see the Shwedagon Pagoda replica. Arrive in Medan, enjoy dinner, and taste the famous Ucok Durian (in season) before checking in at your hotel.
Day 4
MEDAN CITY TOUR – SHOPPING/CULINARY
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed with check-out and begin the Medan city tour. Visit Tjong A Fie Mansion, a historical landmark reflecting the heritage of Medan’s Chinese community. Continue to Maimoon Palace, where you can dress in traditional Malay attire and take photos at the Sultan Deli’s royal throne. Next, visit the iconic Great Mosque of Medan. After sightseeing, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Following lunch, you will be transferred to Kuala Namu International Airport for your onward flight.
