Visiting National Monument – or also known as ‘Monas’ as popularly called, is one of the monuments built during the Soekarno’s era (the first President of fierce nationalism). The towering 137 metres monument is crowned by symbolic flame coated by 50 kg of pure gold symbolizing Indonesia’s National independence.
The history of Indonesia and its struggle for independence is displayed historically in 48 dioramas down in the basement of the monument. Onto Beautiful Indonesia Miniature Park – An extensive park to get a glimpse of the diversity of the Indonesia archipelago. It represents all the provinces of Indonesia’s and their outstanding characteristics, reflected most strikingly in the exact regional architecture of the provinces.
Proceed to Museum Indonesia – A richly decorated in Balinese architecture and a magnificent displays of traditional costumes, contemporary art and crafts from the different region of the country. Continue to Theater IMAX Keong Mas (THE GOLDEN SNAIL) – The highlights is the Theatre Imax Keong Mas which presents “Beautiful Indonesia” on a gigantic screen using the latest imax system.
