After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Pangkalan Bun, Borneo. Upon arrival, meet your guide and continue by car (20 minutes) to Kumai, where you’ll board your private houseboat. Lunch is served onboard as you cruise along the Kumai and Sekonyer Rivers into Tanjung Puting National Park. Enjoy the lush riverside scenery and spot wildlife like birds, macaques, proboscis monkeys, and—if time permits—attend the 15:00 orangutan feeding at Tanjung Harapan. Afterward, continue cruising to observe more proboscis monkeys. Dinner and overnight onboard the houseboat amidst the sounds of the jungle.

TRIP ITINERARY
Day 1
ARRIVAL IN JAKARTA – HOTEL CHECK-IN
Selamat datang! Welcome to Jakarta. Upon arrival at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, you will be welcomed by our driver and transferred to your hotel near the airport. Take time to relax and prepare for your upcoming adventure in the jungle. Depending on your arrival time, you may opt for a short city tour with your driver to explore some highlights of Jakarta.
Note: A same-day connecting flight from Jakarta to Kalimantan is not available, so an overnight stay in Jakarta is required before continuing your journey.
Day 2
FLIGHT TO PANGKALANBUN, AIRPORT – KUMAI HARBOR – HOUSEBOAT – PROBOSCIS TOUR
Day 3
PASALAT CAMP – CAMP LEAKEY
After breakfast, head to Pasalat Camp for a short hike—800 meters on a boardwalk, then 200 meters on forest ground. Here you’ll join a tree-planting activity as part of a carbon offset and reforestation program supporting orangutan habitat. Return to the houseboat and cruise to Camp Leakey. After lunch on board, visit the Information Center to learn about Dr. Birute Galdikas’ orangutan research. At 14:00, trek into the forest for the orangutan feeding session. Return to the boat and continue to Pondok Ambung. If time allows, enjoy a night trek to spot nocturnal wildlife. Dinner and overnight on the houseboat.
Day 4
PONDOK TANGGUI – TANJUNG HARAPAN VILLAGE – TANJUNG HARAPAN CAMP
After breakfast, cruise down the river to visit Pondok Tanggui, the second orangutan rehabilitation center. Witness the orangutan feeding session at 09:00 and take photos in this peaceful jungle setting. Return to the houseboat by 10:00 and continue to Tanjung Harapan village to observe daily life in a traditional Malay settlement. After lunch on board, cross to Tanjung Harapan Camp for the final orangutan feeding at 15:00. Enjoy your time until 16:00, then head to the Nipa Palm area. After sunset, marvel at thousands of fireflies glowing in the trees. Dinner and overnight on the houseboat.
Day 5
FLIGHT TO SEMARANG – TRANSFER TO BOROBUDUR
After breakfast, your driver will transfer you from the boat to the airport for your flight to Java. Upon arrival in Semarang, you’ll be picked up and driven to your hotel in Borobudur, located north of Yogyakarta. The scenic 2.5-hour drive offers beautiful views of Central Java’s volcanoes. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure, relaxing at your hotel.
Day 6
SUNRISE AND BIKE TOUR IN KULONPROGO
In the early morning, your driver will pick you up to witness the sunrise at Borobudur Temple, followed by time to explore the site before it opens to the public. Built in the 8th century, Borobudur was buried in volcanic ash in 1006 and rediscovered in 1814. It was later restored between 1973 and 1984. After the visit, continue south toward Kulon Progo. The drive to Sentolo village takes around 1 to 1.5 hours. There, enjoy a leisurely bicycle ride through rice fields and local villages. Learn about tempeh production, traditional weaving, and village life, followed by a traditional Indonesian lunch.
Day 7
FROM BOROBUDUR TO YOGYAKARTA
After breakfast and checkout, your driver will take you on a short city tour of Yogyakarta. Begin at Beringharjo Market, where you can browse food, clothing, jewelry, and homewares, or try exotic fruits and shop for batik fabrics. Continue to Tamansari Water Castle, the former royal garden of the Sultanate. Next, visit Kampung Tirtodipuran, a center of traditional batik making, where you can observe the intricate wax-resist dyeing process. End the tour in Kotagede, the old capital of the Mataram Kingdom, once a thriving economic and cultural hub. In the afternoon, transfer to your hotel.
Day 8
PRAMBANAN – RATU BOKO TEMPLE
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a leisurely morning at your own pace. In the afternoon, your driver will take you to Prambanan Temple, one of Southeast Asia’s largest Hindu temple complexes and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built between the 8th and 10th centuries, it features eight main shrines and over 250 smaller temples. After exploring Prambanan, continue to Ratu Boko Temple, where you’ll witness a stunning sunset from the hilltop ruins. Once the visit concludes, return to your hotel for a restful evening.
Day 9
FROM YOGYAKARTA TO BROMO
After breakfast and check-out, your driver will take you to your hotel near Mount Bromo. The journey takes approximately 7 to 8 hours, passing through the scenic landscapes of East Java. Upon arrival in the afternoon, check in and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Relax at the hotel and prepare for the early morning excursion to Mount Bromo the following day.
Day 10
BROMO VOLCANO – TRANSFER TO BANYUWANGI
Early in the morning, take a jeep ride to Bromo Crater and hike up roughly 250 steps to the rim with a flashlight. From the top, enjoy the sunrise and explore the volcanic landscape. On your way back, stop at a scenic viewpoint offering stunning views of both Mount Bromo and Mount Semeru. After breakfast at the hotel, continue your journey by car toward Ijen. The drive to Banyuwangi in East Java takes around seven hours, passing by lush tobacco, cocoa, and coffee plantations. Feel free to stop along the way to take in the scenery or capture memorable moments.
Day 11
EXPLORING THE IJEN VOLCANO – PEMUTERAN
Early in the morning, your driver will take you to Mount Ijen. A 1.5-hour hike leads you to the crater rim, where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the volcanic landscape. From the edge of the crater lake, witness the sulfur miners at work, carrying heavy loads by hand through the thick smoke. After the hike, return to your hotel for breakfast. In the afternoon, continue to Ketapang Port, cross by ferry to Bali, and drive onward to Pemuteran for your overnight stay.
Optional: Depart at midnight to witness the famous “blue flames” inside the Ijen Crater.
Day 12
SNORKELING TRIP TO MENJANGAN ISLAND
After breakfast, you’ll head to Banyuwedang Beach for a boat trip to Menjangan Island, part of the West Bali National Park. Here, you’ll enjoy a snorkeling experience in crystal-clear waters, exploring vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life such as angelfish, clownfish, schools of chromis, and possibly even rays. Around midday, a light packed lunch will be provided. After snorkeling, return to the hotel by boat and car, with time to relax and unwind after your underwater adventure.
Day 13
FROM PEMUTERAN TO SANUR
After breakfast and checkout, your driver will take you to Sanur with several scenic stops along the way. First, visit Banyumala Waterfall, a peaceful spot reached by a 20-minute walk through lush greenery—perfect for enjoying nature or taking a refreshing dip. Continue to the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing Bali’s traditional farming and subak irrigation system. The landscape offers breathtaking views of rice paddies cascading along the hillsides. Next, explore Taman Ayun Temple, a royal temple known for its elegant architecture and tiered roofs. Arrive in Sanur by late afternoon.
Day 14
FREEDAY IN SANUR
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, followed by a full day at your leisure. Relax by the pool or take a stroll along Sanur Beach, located right in front of your hotel. The area offers various water sports such as kite surfing, canoeing, surfing, or windsurfing. Along the beachfront promenade, you’ll find a variety of restaurants serving international cuisine—perfect for a romantic dinner with an ocean view.
Day 15
DEPARTURE
Enjoy your final day in Bali at your leisure. After check-out, our driver will transfer you to Ngurah Rai International Airport (Denpasar) for your return flight. We hope you had a memorable journey and wish you a pleasant and safe trip home!
