Day 1
TRANSFER IN – BOROBUDUR
Selamat datang!
Upon arrival at the airport, meeting service and we will take you to visit Borobudur the magnificent Buddhist
Temple. The temple sits majestically on a hilltop overlooking lush green fields and distant hills. Built between AD 780 and 840 during the reign of Syailendra Dynasty, the temple’s design in Gupta architecture reflects India’s influence on the region. However, there are enough indigenous scenes and elements incorporated to make Borobudur uniquely Indonesian. Drive back to Yogyakarta for dinner and check-in to your hotel.
Day 2
CITY TOUR – PRAMBANAN
After breakfast at the hotel, we will take you to have a city sightseeing tours by visiting Sultan Palace, This elegant complex of pavilions was constructed based on ancient beliefs, of the connection between the God, human and the natural realms. Each feature holds a special symbolic meaning related to the Javanese worldview, who consider the importance of Mount Merapi and The Indian Ocean.
Then we visit Tamansari Water Castle, Batik Factory and Silver Handicraft. After lunch, visit Prambanan Hindu’s Temple. Located not far from the Buddhist Borobudur Temple, the proximity of the two temples tells us that on Java, Buddhism and Hinduism lived peacefully next to one another. Prambanan is a magnificent spectacle and an icon of Indonesia’s cultural heritage. The temples at Prambanan were built in the 9th century and is known locally as Roro Jonggrang, coming from the legend of the ‘slender virgin’. Lunch and dinner will be served at a local restaurant.
Day 3
SOLO CITY TOUR – SUKUH
After breakfast at the hotel, we will take you to have Solo city sightseeing tour visit Mangkunegaran Palace, Mangkunegaran is the only palace in Indonesia opens its private domain for public. Pura Mangkunegara is traditionally a palace of Mangkunegaran State ruled by Mangkunegara I and his descendants. Then we visit Triwindu Antique Market. Triwindu Antique Market is the center of excitement for collectors of antiques. Also known as Windujenar Market. you will be greeted by a pair of statues, a man and a woman sitting in the cross-legged position. Solely dedicated to the sale of antiques, the atmosphere in Triwindu differs from other markets. The building market is a two-story, wooden structure that has stood since 1945, adding to the “antique” feel of the building. After lunch, visit Sukuh, the most erotic Tempe in Indonesia. In the afternoon, we will drive back to Yogyakarta. Lunch and dinner will be served at a local restaurant.
Day 4
TRANSFER OUT
After check out from hotel, we will take you to Yogyakarta International Airport and our tour ends.
