TRIP ITINERARY
Day 1
TRANSFER IN – BOROBUDUR
Welcome to Borobudur! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by our team and proceed to visit the magnificent Borobudur Temple. Perched on a hilltop with panoramic views of lush fields and distant hills, Borobudur was built between AD 780 and 840 during the Syailendra Dynasty. Its architecture reflects Gupta influences from India, blended with distinct Indonesian cultural elements, making it a masterpiece of heritage. After the visit, continue to Yogyakarta for dinner at a local restaurant before checking in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2
CITY TOUR – PRAMBANAN
After breakfast at the hotel, begin your city sightseeing tour with a visit to the Sultan Palace, an architectural masterpiece symbolizing the Javanese cosmological balance between the divine, human, and natural realms. Continue to Tamansari Water Castle, once a royal garden and bathing complex. Afterwards, visit a Batik Factory and Silver Handicraft center to witness Yogyakarta’s rich artistic heritage. After lunch, proceed to Prambanan Temple, a grand 9th-century Hindu temple complex renowned for its towering spires and intricate stone carvings. Prambanan’s close proximity to Borobudur reflects Java’s historic harmony between Hinduism and Buddhism. Lunch and dinner will be served at local restaurants.
Day 3
SOLO CITY TOUR – SUKUH
After breakfast, embark on a Solo city tour starting with a visit to Mangkunegaran Palace, a historic royal residence uniquely open to the public, showcasing Javanese architecture and the legacy of Mangkunegara I. Continue to Triwindu Antique Market, a charming two-story wooden market established in 1945, renowned for its curated collection of antiques and collectibles. After lunch at a local restaurant, proceed to Sukuh Temple, often referred to as Indonesia’s most distinctive temple, known for its pyramid-like structure and symbolic carvings themed around life cycles and fertility. In the afternoon, return to Yogyakarta. Lunch and dinner will be provided at local restaurants.
Day 4
DEPARTURE - TRANSFER AIRPORT
After checking out from the hotel, you will be transferred to Yogyakarta International Airport for your departure. This marks the end of our tour. Thank you for joining us, and selamat jalan! Wishing you a safe and pleasant journey ahead.
