Trip Itinerary
TRANSFER IN – BOROBUDUR
Selamat datang!
Upon arrival at the airport, meeting service and we will take you to visit Borobudur the magnificent Buddhist
Temple. The temple sits majestically on a hilltop overlooking lush green fields and distant hills. Built between AD 780 and 840 during the reign of Syailendra Dynasty, the temple’s design in Gupta architecture reflects India’s influence on the region. However, there are enough indigenous scenes and elements incorporated to make Borobudur uniquely Indonesian. Drive back to Yogyakarta for dinner and check-in to your hotel.
CITY TOUR – PRAMBANAN
After breakfast at the hotel, we will take you to have a city sightseeing tours by visiting Sultan Palace, This elegant complex of pavilions was constructed based on ancient beliefs, of the connection between the God, human and the natural realms. Each feature holds a special symbolic meaning related to the Javanese worldview, who consider the importance of Mount Merapi and The Indian Ocean.
Then we visit Tamansari Water Castle, Batik Factory and Silver Handicraft. After lunch, visit Prambanan Hindu’s Temple. Located not far from the Buddhist Borobudur Temple, the proximity of the two temples tells us that on Java, Buddhism and Hinduism lived peacefully next to one another. Prambanan is a magnificent spectacle and an icon of Indonesia’s cultural heritage. The temples at Prambanan were built in the 9th century and is known locally as Roro Jonggrang, coming from the legend of the ‘slender virgin’. Lunch and dinner will be served at a local restaurant.
