Bunaken National Park, located in northern Sulawesi, Indonesia, lies at the heart of the Coral Triangle and is home to over 390 coral species, along with diverse fish, mollusks, reptiles, and marine mammals. Established in 1991, it is one of Indonesia’s earliest marine parks, representing key tropical marine ecosystems such as seagrass beds, coral reefs, and coastal zones. The park spans 890.65 km², with 97% being marine habitat and 3% land, including the islands of Bunaken, Manado Tua, and others. It is renowned for its biodiversity and exceptional underwater experiences.
