TRIP ITINERARY
Day 1
ARRIVAL MANADO – HOTEL TOMOHON
Welcome to North Sulawesi! Upon arrival at Sam Ratulangi Airport in Manado, you will be met by our representative and transferred directly to your hotel. Enjoy a scenic drive to the cool highlands of Tomohon, where you will check in at your selected accommodation—either Highland Resort or Villa Emitta. Take time to relax and settle in after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the resort surroundings or simply rest and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Overnight stay in Tomohon, preparing for an exciting adventure ahead in the heart of North Sulawesi.
Day 2
MINAHASA HIGHLAND TOUR
After breakfast, begin your cultural journey through the highlands of Minahasa. Visit Tinoor for panoramic views of Manado, then explore Woloan Village, renowned for traditional wooden Minahasan houses. Continue to Tomohon’s vibrant traditional market, where locals sell fresh produce and exotic delicacies. Head to scenic Lake Tondano and enjoy lunch by the lakeside, surrounded by goldfish farms. Visit Pulutan Village, known for handmade pottery, before exploring Bukit Kasih (Hill of Love) with its natural spring and 2,435 steps. End the day at the colorful sulfur-rich Linow Lake. Return to your hotel in Tomohon for an overnight stay.
Day 3
MAHAWU – WHITE WATER RAFTING
Transfer to Timbukar Village for an exciting white-water adventure on the Nimanga River. Surrounded by lush landscapes, this thrilling rafting experience offers a unique way to enjoy the natural beauty of North Sulawesi. As you navigate the river’s rapids, take in the stunning mountain views and refreshing atmosphere. This tour also includes a visit to Mountain View Resort, where you can relax and enjoy the serene highland environment. After this exhilarating day, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Tomohon. Overnight at Highland Resort or Villa Emitta, ready for another day of exploration.
Day 4
TOMOHON – MINAHASA TRADITIONAL COOKING EXPERIENCE - MANADO
After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, your guide will take you to a traditional market to select fresh ingredients for today’s cooking session. Continue to a local home where you’ll learn to prepare two authentic Minahasan dishes: “Ikan Woku,” a spicy fish curry, and “Sayur Pangi,” a vegetable dish made with shredded pangi leaves. Under the guidance of local hosts, you’ll experience the unique flavors and cooking techniques of the region. After the cooking class, enjoy the delicious lunch you’ve prepared together. This hands-on culinary experience offers a memorable cultural highlight before continuing your journey.
Day 5
TANGKOKO JUNGLE TREKKING
After breakfast, transfer to Tangkoko Nature Reserve for an unforgettable jungle trekking experience. En route, stop at Sawangan Village to visit the ancient Waruga stone graves, burial sites of the Minahasan ancestors. Continue to the reserve, where you’ll explore rich biodiversity including Sulawesi endemic species such as the Black Crested Macaque (Macaca nigra), Tarsius spectrum, Bear Cuscus (Ailurops ursinus), Knobbed Hornbill (Rhyticeros cassidix), and a variety of tropical birds. You’ll also encounter unique plant life, including pitcher plants, fig trees, and Palaquium. After the trek, return to Manado for dinner and overnight at Manado Quality Hotel or NDC Resort.
Day 6
BUNAKEN SNORKELING TOUR
After breakfast, transfer to Manado Bay and board a motorized canoe for a 45-minute journey to Bunaken Island. Enjoy a day of marine exploration in one of Indonesia’s most stunning coral reef ecosystems, home to vibrant reef formations, thousands of fish species, and diverse marine life. After snorkeling or relaxing by the beach, lunch will be served at a local restaurant on the island. Return to Manado in the afternoon and stop by a local souvenir and handicrafts center for shopping. Transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay at Manado Quality Hotel or NDC Resort. Day 7: Departure.

DEPARTURE - TRANSFER AIRPORT
Thank you for joining us! After breakfast, you will be transferred directly to Sam Ratulangi Airport to catch your onward flight.
