Day 1
ARRIVAL IN MAKASSAR – RANTEPAO
Welcome to Toraja! Upon arrival at the airport, begin your scenic drive to Tana Toraja, an 8-hour journey through the picturesque Bugis villages. Stop by Sumpangbinangae, a traditional Bugis fishing village, to observe the locals’ unique fishing techniques and coastal lifestyle. Continue the journey and take a short break at Puncak Lakawan, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Mount Buttukabobong and the surrounding hills. Arrive in Rantepao, the heart of Toraja, and check in at your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure, relaxing after a long journey and preparing for tomorrow’s cultural exploration.

Explore Pallawa and Lo Komata to witness impressive Tongkonan houses and rock structures, before a scenic stop at Landorundun Village. Return to Rantepao for dinner and an overnight stay.

PUNCAK LAKAWAN – MAKASSAR – TRANSFER OUT
After breakfast, depart from Rantepao and begin your return journey to Makassar. Stop briefly at Puncak Lakawan to enjoy a refreshing mountain view and capture the beauty of Toraja’s highlands from a different angle. Continue the scenic drive through lush landscapes and charming Bugis villages. Upon arrival in Makassar, transfer directly to the airport for your onward flight.
