TRIP ITINERARY
Day 1
ARRIVAL SURABAYA – CITY TOUR
Selamat datang! Upon arrival at Juanda International Airport Surabaya, you will be greeted by our tour guide. Begin your Surabaya city tour by visiting the House of Sampoerna, a cigarette museum where you can witness traditional hand-rolling of cigarettes (weekdays 07:00–12:00). Continue to Sunan Ampel Mosque and explore the vibrant Arab Quarter. Drive through Kembang Jepun, Surabaya’s old Chinatown, and visit Cheng Ho Mosque, a unique Chinese-style mosque. Afterward, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Lunch and dinner will be served at local restaurants. Rest and prepare for the next day’s adventure.
Day 2
TANGGULANGIN – SIDOARJO – SURABAYA
After breakfast at the hotel, depart to Tanggulangin, well-known for its leather home industries producing various handmade leather goods. Continue to Sidoarjo, a center for shrimp crackers, batik, and embroidery, where you can shop for local delicacies and crafts. On the way back to Surabaya, visit the iconic Al Akbar Mosque, the largest mosque in Surabaya, renowned for its grand blue dome and towering minaret. Afterward, return to the hotel for rest. Lunch and dinner will be served at local restaurants.
Day 3
SURABAYA – YOGYAKARTA
After breakfast at the hotel, begin your overland journey to Yogyakarta, which takes approximately 7 hours by car. Along the way, you will stop at designated rest areas for refreshments and relaxation. Enjoy the scenic views of Java’s countryside during the drive. Upon arrival in Yogyakarta, proceed to check in at your hotel. Lunch and dinner will be provided at local restaurants.
Day 4
YOGYAKARTA TOUR
After breakfast, begin your day by visiting the Sultan Palace (Kraton), an architectural masterpiece reflecting Javanese cosmology and royal traditions. Continue to Tamansari Water Castle, once a royal garden with bathing pools, meditation areas, and underground tunnels. Today, only a few sections remain open to the public, while parts of the complex are now home to local residents. Proceed to explore traditional Batik workshops and Kota Gede’s Silver Smith center, witnessing the intricate craftsmanship. In the afternoon, visit the majestic Borobudur Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, renowned for its stunning design and panoramic views. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.
Day 5
YOGYAKARTA - DEPARTURE
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy free time for shopping or exploring the city at your leisure. At the designated time, our team will transfer you to Yogyakarta International Airport for your onward journey.
