Day 1
ARRIVE IN KUALA NAMU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT – TAMAN SIMALEM RESORT
Welcome to North Sumatra! Upon arrival at Kuala Namu International Airport, meet your guide and proceed with the baggage claim process. Begin the journey with a scenic 3.5-hour drive to Taman Simalem Resort. En route, visit the historic Maimoon Palace, where you can dress in traditional Malay attire and take photos at the Sultan Deli’s royal throne. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing the drive, passing through the cool highlands of Berastagi. Upon arrival at Taman Simalem Resort, check in and settle into your room. Dinner will be served at the resort before you rest for the evening.
Day 2
TAMAN SIMALEM RESORT – BRASTAGI – MEDAN
Start the day early with a sunrise visit to the Amphitheatre or One Tree Hill, offering breathtaking views of Lake Toba from 800 meters above sea level. Breakfast will be served while you enjoy the scenery. Join an Agro Tour with optional fruit picking or a soft trek to the Twin Waterfalls. Afterward, check out from Taman Simalem Resort and depart for Medan via Berastagi. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to the traditional fruit market and Taman Alam Lumbini, home to a replica of Myanmar’s Shwedagon Pagoda. Arrive in Medan for dinner, and if in season, enjoy the famous Ucok Durian before checking in at your hotel.
Day 3
MEDAN CITY TOUR / SHOPPING – KUALA NAMU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
After breakfast at the hotel, begin the Medan city tour with a visit to Tjong A Fie Mansion, a historical landmark showcasing the heritage of Medan’s Chinese community. Continue to the Great Mosque of Medan, one of the city’s most iconic religious sites. Enjoy shopping at Pasar Ikan Lama, Medan Mall, or Sun Plaza for local products and souvenirs.
