MEDAN ARRIVAL – CITY TOUR

Selamat Datang!

Upon arrival at International Kuala Namu airport, you will be greeted by our tour guide. After the baggage process, have lunch at a traditional restaurant of Javanese cuisine mixed with the Sumatera taste. Then visit Maimoon Palace where you have chance to wear traditional clothes and take picture in front of the throne of Sultan Deli and Great Mosque. Dinner at local restaurant and taste some local foods then try Durian Ucok – famous local Durian (in harvest season) before check in hotel.

MEDAN – BERASTAGI

After breakfast, check out hotel. Visit Tjong A Fie Mansion which has Chinese, Malay and art Deco built in 1895 for his beloved wife. He is leader of the growing Chinese Community. He was a wise leader and generous rich business man. He was committed to giving back a percentage of his wealth to the community of Medan as a whole, without prejudice against race or religions. Also participated when Sultan Deli built the Great Mosque. Proceed to Berastagi. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit Taman Alam Lumbini, miniature Golden Burmese Pagoda, traditional fruit market. Check in hotel. Dinner at local restaurant.

BRASTAGI – PARAPAT

This morning we will leave Brastagi for Parapat, a famous lake resort lies on the east shore of Lake Toba through the fertile vegetable and the fruit farms, pine tree forest and spectacular view of Lake Toba along most part the journey. Stop at the slender Sipiso Piso Waterfall drops into the northern tip shore of Lake Toba from hundred meters height. Visit Rumah Bolon at Pematang Purba at the fringe of the Karo Highlands at about meters above sea level, it is a complex called the Rumah Bolon, the “Big House”, traditional house which is the residence of a former local ruler. Or stop at Simarjarunjung, a mountainous area at the edge of Lake Toba. You can see the very beautiful panorama around Lake Toba. Proceed to Parapat. Lunch at local restaurant. Check in hotel. Dinner at Hotel.

SAMOSIR TOUR – PARAPAT – MEDAN

After breakfast, Samosir Tour visit the Tomb of King Sidabutar and Batak Toba Village at Tomok. Then Ambarita, a traditional village with ancient megalithic furniture in front of the traditional house. Back to Parapat. Lunch at local restaurant before departing to Medan, passing the rubber and coconut plantation along the road of Pematang Siantar and Tebing Tinggi. In Pematang Siantar enjoy ride the rickshaw, an antique motorcycle Birmingham Small Arms made by England 1941. In general, BSA motorcycles come to Indonesia in transition Japanese troops to the Allies (Dutch English). Then BSA spread to areas of the Dutch colonies, including the Siantar. Nowadays use as the rickshaw motorcycle. Visit the beverage factory of Badak, local brand but well known in Medan and Jakarta. Badak brand is the first soda drink in Indonesia. Continue to Medan. Dinner at local restaurant before check in hotel.

MEDAN – DEPARTURE

Free on own activities until time to be transferred to International Kuala Namu airport for next destination.
