ARRIVAL IN DENPASAR – CHECK IN HOTEL

Bali is the most famous and popular holiday island in the Indonesian archipelago. The Balinese, most of whom are Hindu, are known for their warm hospitality. Bali is very diverse and offers exotic temples, waterfalls in the midst of breathtaking natural scenery, mysterious volcanoes and dense jungle as well as a variety of different beaches. Upon arrival in Bali, you’ll be picked up from the airport and driven to your hotel in Ubud, where you can relax for the rest of the day.

SURF COURSE IN SEMINYAK

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will go with your surf instructor to the beach of Seminyak or Kuta, where you will learn the basics of surfing in a 2 1/2 – hour surf lesson. Every beginning is difficult – but if you stop on the surfboard for the first time after a few attempts, you will understand why thousands of surfers in Bali are looking for the perfect wave. The exact time of the surf lesson depends on the tides.

KUTA – UBUD

After breakfast you can go to the beach again to rent a surfboard. After checkout, take a driver to Beji Guwang Hidden Canyon. With a local guide, you’ll walk through the canyon in about 2.5 hours. Here you have to climb, jump and swim as well. Your guide will help you navigate through the canyon and show you where to put your foot down to get through the canyon safely even in difficult places. Afterwards you will visit the Monkey Forest in Ubud, where you can watch the cheeky monkeys play in the trees. Take care of your valuables, the monkeys are very smart and know exactly how to open a backpack! Afterward, your driver will take you to your Ubud hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

HIGHLIGHTS AROUND UBUD

After breakfast, your driver will first head to the Bali Swing swing in Bongkasa, where you can swing over the rice fields and take great photos. Afterwards, continue north to the Bali Pulina Coffee Plantation, where you can learn more about making the world’s most expensive coffee (“Luwak”) and taste various local drinks. Afterwards you will make a stop at the well-known rice terraces in Tegalalang. Then, continue to Tirta Empul Water Temple, one of the most important temples in central Bali. If you wish, you can “purify” yourself here like the Balinese Hindus in the holy water. Afterwards we continued to the rock temple Gunung Kawi. Afterwards, your driver will take you back to the hotel in Ubud.

BIKE TOUR, KINTAMANI TO UBUD

After breakfast you will be picked up at the hotel and it will be off to East Bali in the direction of . On the way it goes by car through the beautiful rice terraces. After arriving in Kintamani with a view of the Batur volcano, the Balinese twins Wayan and Ketut Kembar will take a bike tour through the exotic jungle, rice fields, small temples and traditional villages. On the way you can taste local fruits directly from the tree and stop at a small waterfall. At the end of the tour, head to the twins’ family home for a delicious Balinese lunch. In the afternoon, head back to your Ubud hotel.

TAMAN AYUN – BATUKARU – JATILUWIH

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast and check out, your driver will take you to Taman Ayun Royal Temple, one of the most beautiful and impressive in Bali, known for its multi-layered rooftops. Afterwards we went to Batukaru Temple, a small temple complex at the foot of Batukaru Mountain. Your next destination is the Jatiluwih rice terraces. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a kind of living museum that showcases Bali’s traditional agriculture. Through intelligent land use and traditional cultivation systems,local farmers have created picture-perfect rice terraces on the steep slopes. Afterwards, your driver will take you to your “glamping hotel” in Jatiluwih.

JUNGLE HIKE

After breakfast, hike through the dense rainforest of the nature reserve at Mt. Batukaru. It goes past meadow trees, bird nest ferns, wild orchids, tree ferns and many other tropical plants. They are about three and a half hours on the way before returning to your tent. Afternoon for free use. Guests can relax at the hotel or explore the surrounding area on their own.
